Job summary

Campbell's in Hanover, PA is seeking an Electronic Controls Technician for a 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Mon-Fri) to provide electrical/PLC support in a bakery environment. You will troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems, design improvements, and help upgrade equipment to drive line performance.

Required: 5+ years of industrial PLC programming and troubleshooting; 2-year Industrial Electrical Degree; experience with Allen-Bradley, VFDs and motion control; MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with industrial PLC programming and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel on electrical hardware and software to maintain plant operation.
• Locate electrical/electric problem areas and design systems to improve operations of plant machinery.
• Redesign existing electrical systems when components are obsolete and no longer available.
• Coordinate the wiring of electrical equipment and components, maintain documentation including manuals and updates to plant specifications.
• Assist in training plant personnel to ensure they are capable of maintaining systems with minimum supervision, downtime, and loss of productivity.
• Develops new control concepts and designs for control systems.
• Understand and uses code for troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Attend classes and training to keep skills up to date.
• Follow GMPs and use PPE as required by OSHA and food handling protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
• Mandatory overtime may be required.
