Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking an Electrical Assembler II to join the production team on the night shift. The role involves sub-assembly wiring and final assembly of LV/MV distribution equipment, reading BOMs and drawings, and maintaining torque control. Training on first shift is provided before transitioning to the third shift.

The position offers full-time hours with a base rate of $22.46 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical assembly or related field.
• 1+ years using standard hand and power tools (pneumatic/battery).
• Experience with torque wrench and torque values.
• Experience with tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Proficiency in reading and following English instructions.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and sub-assemble components, including steel parts.
• Record transactions, read BOMs, and follow drawings.
• Set and use torque wrenches per process and improve where possible.
• Follow OH&S policies and be a strong team player.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
