Job summary

REELSAFE SAFETY LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator in Odessa, TX, to uphold a safe and compliant workplace. The role runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and focuses on audits, training, and incident investigations to strengthen safety culture.

You will maintain training and incident records, collaborate with management, and stay current with evolving regulations to protect employees and the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety roles.
• Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or similar are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train diverse teams.
• Proficient in safety management software and reporting tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Provide training and support to employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with management to promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies remain compliant.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills to prepare for potential incidents.
