Job summary

REELSAFE SAFETY LLC in Odessa, TX is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to manage our OSHA/EPA compliance and lead safety initiatives on site.

You will conduct audits, lead safety committees, train staff, and prepare EHS performance reports while working with the Director of Safety to improve workplace health and safety. This full-time role requires 2 years’ manufacturing EHS experience, strong communication, and the ability to perform root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent report writing skills with ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with root cause analysis methods (Fishbone, 5-Why).

Responsibilities

• Maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Lead Safety committees and provide training and development programs for employees.
• Collaborate with management to improve workplace safety and health.
• Assist with workers' compensation claims in line with laws and company policies.
• Prepare detailed reports on EHS performance metrics, incidents, and compliance activities.
• Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
