Responsibilities

Monitor and control plant operations to follow the operations plan and identify improvement opportunities.
Physically monitor process parameters: temperatures, vacuums, pressures, flows and levels.
Take product samples, analyze quality, and record test data.
Maintain logs of instrument readings, pumps, tanks and related equipment.
Follow food safety policies and ensure plant cleanliness; report issues to management.
Communicate with other employees and departments to support efficient plant operation.
Participate in projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Provide a customer-service attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
