Job summary

Soybean Oil Co is seeking a Process Technician to coordinate the operation of preparation equipment with plant personnel to produce flaked soybeans for extraction and finished soy meal within spec. You will operate equipment safely, complete paperwork, and maintain sanitation per SQF standards.

The role requires participating in shift rotations, learning RO system basics, boiler knowledge, and effective communication to ensure continuous, compliant production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to process information and communicate effectively.

• Capable of basic math, computer use, and typing.
• Actively participate in a safe, positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate preparation and finished meal equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required paperwork for record keeping.
• Perform safety checks and communicate process problems.
• Maintain sanitation schedules per SQF standards.
• Learn basic knowledge of RO system, boilers, process and control room handoffs.
