Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking an ED Tech to assist in delivering nursing care during 7pm-7am shifts. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will support patient care within hospital policies and standards while maintaining safety and quality.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for coordinating with families, patients, and the medical team. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and a BLS certification, with prior nursing assistant or EMT

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrates care for patients with sensitivity to age, culture and disability.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of a licensed registered nurse, assists in rendering nursing care in the ED.
• Functions within policies, procedures and guidelines of Sturdy Memorial Hospital and applicable regulatory standards.
• Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of patients, families, co-workers and physicians.
