Mercy Health – Anderson Emergency Department is seeking an ED Tech Advanced to support direct patient care during night shifts. This role involves working under the supervision of an RN to deliver essential care and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred completion of an Advanced EMT program and current Basic Life Support. The position requires strong teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Advanced EMT (AEMT) program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Perform lab draws, ECGs, wound care, and vital sign measurement.
• Assist with mobility, patient comfort, and personal care.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Support handoff communications and safety interventions.
