Job summary

Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, specimen collection, and transport. You will maintain equipment and rooms, document in the medical record, and uphold our standards of respect and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or licensure in Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, EMT/EMT-I.
• Current CPR certification.
• Nursing students who have completed their first clinical rotation may be considered equivalent to Nurse Aide Certification.
• Previous experience in a medical-related field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (e.g., hygiene, ambulation, toileting, nourishment).
• Obtain specimens and perform measurements (e.g., vital signs, EKGs, blood glucose).
• Assist in exams and treatments (e.g., CPR, IV discontinuation, sterile tray setup).
• Applies protective and therapeutic devices as instructed.
• Transports patients and equipment safely.

Skills

Previous experience in medical-related

Knowledge of medical terminology

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

CPR certification
