Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to assist in providing care to patients; all approaches to a patient are sensitive to the patient's age, culture and potential disability.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Must meet all criteria associated with responsibilities listed in the core and unit-specific competencies for an ED Tech.
• Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.
• Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co‑workers and physicians.

• Assist in rendering nursing care in the ED under RN supervision.
