Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring an Emergency Department Tech (ED Tech) for full-time night shifts (7p–7a). You will assist physicians and nurses in implementing care plans, perform procedures under supervision, and support the ED team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires EMT-B certification at hire or equivalent, HS diploma, and clinical program participation. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT-B certification required at time of hire or equivalent.
• Current student enrolled in a clinical program with at least one semester completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses in emergency care under supervision.
• Perform IV starts and EKGs as directed.
• Conduct Point of Care testing and blood cultures.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with arrival prioritization.
• Stock ED supplies and provide patient education.
