Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation is seeking a Staff RN for Mansfield Hospital Emergency Department. This full-time night-shift role operates 7p–7a with every other weekend coverage and weekend/shift differentials.

The RN will provide professional nursing care across the continuum, delegate tasks, and ensure safety and quality in a 24/7 ED setting. Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN must be achieved within 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient needs and plan care across 24/7 operations.
• Identify outcomes and plan nursing interventions with the care team.
• Implement and evaluate care plans; update based on patient response.
• Provide leadership in safety, quality, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with ED staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care continuity.
