Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across diverse acute care settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and collaborates with LPNs and UAPs in a 24/7/365 Emergency Department. Night shift, 36 hours per week.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, participate in quality improvements, and uphold safety and patient-centered care within a High Reliability Organization framework.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification and BSN requirement after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - conducts initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - documents planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluates and documents responses to care.
• Leadership - participates in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - supports department functions and patient care workflows.
