Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for Emergency Department with a CO or compact licenses and night shift availability. The role requires BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate, and Epic charting experience.

Qualified candidates will have ASN and at least 1 year in ED. PALS/TNCC preferred. This position offers night shifts, 12-hour days, and potential cross-department coverage within competency boundaries.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, CO or compact required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required, not expiring prior to start.
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required.
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care including health teaching and counseling.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards.
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment.
