Job summary

HCA Healthca re, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Supervisor CNC for the Emergency Department at Medical City North Hills Hospital. This full-time night-shift role focuses on leading nursing care, coordinating admission/discharge, and driving patient-centered outcomes.

You will collaborate with management to foster teamwork, implement nursing strategies, and guide staff through hiring, training, and performance processes to ensure efficient, high-quality care for a busy ED.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• TNCC must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
• Collaborate with management to create an environment of teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies, including employee rounds and hourly rounds.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, hiring, training, and performance actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management within productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and supply/equipment management.
