Responsibilities

Watch for defects in carpet that might be caused by steamer or washers and contact supervisor about them.
Align guide so that carpet and leader enter dryer straight.
Ensure all circulating fans are running.
Run inside rollers and tenter width correctly to keep carpet straight.
Stay in close contact with inspector about moisture content, width and bow.
Stay in contact with Console operator about the speed that you are running.
Never leave dryer running unattended.
Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
Follow all established standard operating procedures.
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
