Job summary

Elanco in Elwood, KS is hiring for a Manufacturing Supervisor – Downstream Bioprocessing. The role leads daily manufacturing operations for monoclonal antibody production, ensuring safety, quality and cGMP compliance.

You will supervise staff, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3+ years in regulated manufacturing, with the ability to wear gowning and PPE.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in a regulated, commercial manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to wear appropriate gowning and personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily downstream bioprocessing manufacturing activities to meet production targets.
• Coach and develop manufacturing personnel through performance management and training.
• Ensure operations comply with USDA, EMA, cGMP and approved procedures.
• Maintain strong floor presence promoting safe work practices and quality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support compliant operations.
• Monitor performance, equipment readiness, and batch records with timely documentation.
