Job summary

Elanco Elwood, Kansas facility is seeking a Bio Manufacturing Operator to perform and document activities in a monoclonal antibody production environment. The role covers media preparation, upstream/downstream processing, formulation, fill/finish, and packaging with strict adherence to aseptic and GMP practices.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to work a 12-hour shift with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows/Microsoft Office) and communication (written and verbal).
• Must be able to wear gowning and PPE in production areas.
• Demonstrates teamwork, initiative, a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor core mAb manufacturing processes (media/prep, upstream/downstream, formulation).
• Maintain cGMP compliance in a regulated environment (USDA/FDA/EMA).
• Follow SOPs and batch records for equipment operation and daily tasks.
• Perform aseptic manipulations and maintain sterile environment.
• Support equipment prep, maintenance, and process improvements; interface with QC for sampling and environmental monitoring.
