Job summary

SunOpta, Inc. is hiring for a Downline Operator I at the Midlothian, TX plant. This night shift role runs on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am and includes a $2.00/hr shift differential on top of the base rate.

You will operate packaging equipment, monitor quality, and support maintenance while following GMPs and safety rules. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of math and computers is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn Downline Packaging equipment including Cap Applicator and Cardboard Case Packer.
• Ensure efficient operation of distribution equipment and assist maintenance activities.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
• Maintain safety, quality and effective communication for shift and plant performance.
• Cover for vacations or absences as needed.
