Job summary

SunOpta seeks a Downline Operator I at its Midlothian, TX plant. You will operate packaging equipment, learn cap applicator, case packer, accumulators, and coders; ensure efficient distribution equipment operation and follow written instructions to maintain quality and safety.

You will perform quality checks, maintain a clean work area, assist maintenance, monitor WIP, and troubleshoot, with a team-focused approach and adherence to GMP, HACCP and SQF standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and learn Cap Applicator, Cardboard Case Packer, and coders.
• Follow written instructions to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Perform quality checks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support maintenance and mechanics in routine tasks and troubleshooting.
• Relieve team members for breaks and ensure smooth shift transitions.
