SunOpta, Inc. is seeking an Operations Downline Operator I for Team D at our East Fogelsville facility. This role operates palletizing and forklift equipment to package aseptic beverages, performs CIP and sanitation, and maintains safe, efficient production.

You will monitor equipment, handle material flow with FIFO, complete required paperwork, and perform quality checks. The position requires forklift certification, strong teamwork, and the ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred; or two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Passing of background and drug screens.
• Able to keep operating logs and records.
• Able to read manuals and problem solve.
• Able to climb on/off forklifts regularly.
• Desire to succeed and good work ethics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High energy, flexible, self-starter, hands-on with little administrative support.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Team player with urgency and accountability.

Responsabilidades

• Operate all energized and non-energized forklift and palletizing equipment.
• Monitor and fix faults and clear material jams in palletizing robot.
• Pick and load outbound trucks per paperwork.
• Unload and store inbound trucks.
• Monitor raw packaging material and supplies to support production.
• Maintain FIFO for ingredients and materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift and palletizing equipment; document parts needed.
• Relieve teammates for breaks and absences.
• Maintain clean area around equipment and perform basic cleaning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic operating issues.
• Complete inspections of critical parameters.
• Work independently and with team; proper shift handoff.
• Complete paperwork neatly and professionally.
• Proficient with computers.
• Perform quality and food safety checks to ensure standards.
• Communicate delays or problems to facility staff.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures.
