Job summary

NDC, Inc. seeks a nighttime Distribution Center supervisor to oversee picking, packing, receiving and shipping within the night shift. You will lead ~45 employees, design workflows, monitor inventory throughput and implement process rules in the WMS to maintain accurate stock levels and on-time shipments.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, IT and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies, manage payroll/hiring matters, and ensure safety and data confidentiality across all duties.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising a team.
• Excellent people skills, motivational ability and a positive attitude.
• Ability to proactively solve problems is critical.
• PC/system literacy and distribution software proficiency (WMS, TMS, ERP data warehousing tools).

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly picking, packing, receiving and shipping operations for the Distribution Center.
• Design process workflows and improve departmental productivity.
• Set up WMS rules to optimize inventory movements and reduce shrinkage.
• Coordinate payroll reconciliation, hiring decisions and other personnel actions.
• Generate reports from WMS/ERP/TMS and Sales Cube to monitor inventory and capacity.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, IT and Customer Service to resolve inventory variances.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient health information and maintain safety standards.
