Advantage Technical in Monroe, MI is seeking a strong Distribution Center Supervisor to lead a team of 15-35 hourly employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role emphasizes leadership and operational management rather than hands-on work.

You will supervise inbound/outbound and inventory processes, handle performance and disciplinary matters, and drive daily efficiency, safety and accuracy while coordinating staffing and shift meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree not required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage employees, handle disciplinary matters, and maintain operational efficiency.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing supervisory experience preferred.
• Union/UAW supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15-35 employees across inbound, outbound, cross-dock, and inventory operations.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Set clear expectations, enforce policies, and maintain team accountability.
• Monitor productivity, safety, quality, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead shift meetings, coordinate staffing, and ensure efficient daily operations.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with leadership to resolve operational challenges.
