Job summary

HD Supply seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee multiple DC departments, including pick, shipping, receiving, returns, and replenishment. You will provide direction, motivate staff, and ensure safety, productivity, and quality across operations.

You will monitor productivity, train staff, and act as the liaison for escalated issues while identifying efficiency improvements and maintaining inventory controls. Travel is minimal and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in a distribution center.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or mentorship role.
• May require certification.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to meet production and delivery goals.
• Provides training, tools, and equipment for warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Acts as point-of-contact for escalated issues across warehousing functions.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance DC performance and department effectiveness.
• Evaluates alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
• Ensures clean work areas and safety policy adherence.
• Completes paperwork and productivity reports.
• Leads a group or team of support or lower level professionals.
