You will drive workforce planning, recruiting, and retention while ensuring DOT/FMCSA/HOS/ELD compliance. This role demands cross-functional leadership and a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, SCM, Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years in transportation/logistics roles; 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience managing customer relationships and communicating with senior leadership.
• Experience with TL/LTL/dedicated transportation operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA/HOS/ELD regulations.
• Experience with workforce planning, recruiting and retention, analytics, and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading operations across multiple locations and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for driver operations across locations and customer accounts.
• Lead and develop Driver Operations Managers and other leaders with a focus on safety and service.
• Establish standards and accountability across driver operations; ensure resources to execute.
• Maintain proactive customer communication on performance, staffing needs, and risks.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, forecasting, and workforce planning for driver ops.
• Drive driver engagement and retention; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and corrective actions as needed.
• Lead strategic initiatives, process improvements, and operational launches.
• Prepare reports and analyses for senior leadership and customers.
