Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business, or related field.
• Experience in transportation operations, fleet management, or logistics is required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of drivers and monitor performance.
• Conduct regular driver performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Plan, review, and optimize transportation routes for efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations to address delivery concerns and improve service quality.
• Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related tools to manage driver operations and reporting.
