Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of customer orders within assigned area while maintaining customer expectations.
• Direct and schedule drivers' work; notify drivers of assignments to ensure on-time movement of goods.
• Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues; maintain professional communication with customers.
• Monitor drivers' hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
• Communicate with customers regularly regarding issues impacting service.
• Prepare and process data and paperwork; update dispatch information in real-time.
• Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.
