Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for a 3rd shift position in Charlotte, NC. The role involves operating various printers, maintaining production logs, and ensuring quality across all print jobs.

The candidate will set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue, adjust media as needed, and manage supplies. A High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, repetitive hand motion required and able to lift / push up to 50lbs.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers; RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position, perforations and folds on paper as needed.
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items.
