Job summary

RRD is seeking a skilled 3rd shift Bindery Operator to set up, adjust and run a range of binding equipment at our Greensboro, NC facility. You will supervise crew, monitor quality and productivity, and ensure safe operation of all machines.

The role requires deep knowledge of bindery processes, the ability to tune multiple stations, and mentoring of teammates to maintain high standards and efficient throughput. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of bindery setup and operation.
• Ability to adjust multiple stations and coordinate workflows.
• Experience mentoring new and existing staff.
• Ability to read and interpret machine operation instructions.
• Focus on safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines
• Inspect equipment for safety issues
• May operate automatic adhesive binding machines that contain numerous interrelated process stations and perform functions as required
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple work stations on a single machine
• Direct crew through all aspects of production
• Monitor quality, output and productivity
