Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of digital print and inkjet imaging equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting timeliness and quality.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and ability to adjust colors to customer specifications.
• Excellent knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print.
• Proficient in setting up feed rollers, tension, timing and inline finishing per job specs.
• May instruct junior operators on corrective adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
• Program and prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position, color quality, and resolution per job specs.
• Monitor quality of output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory levels.
