The position features a third shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am), Monday–Friday with weekends off, and uses state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools to keep equipment in top condition.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventative maintenance.
• Two years or more of classroom training and relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools when applicable.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and company policies.
