Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet on the road through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs. You will read precision instruments, use hand and power tools, and ensure DOT/EPA/OSHA compliance while maintaining a safe, team-oriented work environment.

A High School diploma and prior maintenance experience are required. This is a full-time role with opportunities for training and career advancement within our 260+

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as maintenance technician or equivalent education.
• Experience with truck repair and body/frame repair.
• Must provide own tools and complete paperwork.
• Valid CDL when required and knowledge of truck systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment in a safe, timely, cost-effective manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform diagnostics.
• Use precision instruments and electronic diagnostic tools.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations.
• Possess welding skills as needed for repairs and joints.
