Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with state and federal trucking regulations.

You will document all work in the online system, install onboard computers, inspect critical systems, and may perform road call services as needed. The role requires strong mechanical skills and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience including PMs, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, and related equipment.
• Identify root causes of failures and perform repairs as needed.
• Ensure roadworthy status with proper licensing and registration.
• Document work orders and maintenance in the online system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brakes, steering, bearings, and other critical components.
• Carry out road call services as needed.
