Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at our Conroe, TX facility to work on tractors and trailers. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fleet equipment with documentation in the Enterprise Asset Management system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventive maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, Reyes Fleet Management standards and safety programs.
• Possibly drive Reyes Family of Businesses and customer vehicles; DOT-required checks and Drug Screening for CDL holders.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
