Case Farms, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to support production by moving pallets and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in a high-paced facility.

Responsibilities include pallet placement, equipment inspection, and reporting issues to supervision while following OSHA and case-specific guidelines. Prior forklift experience is essential, and the position is on-site in a fast-moving plant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Prior forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from the production floor and carefully places them in the correct bay in the freezer for future shipment.
• Properly inspects equipment to ensure they are in optimum operating condition.
• Notifies supervisor and/or lead of any issues with the forklift or malfunction(s).
• Safely operates high-reach forklifts under OSHA and Case Farms guidelines.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts/conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters.
• Maintains a clean, uncluttered, and safe work area.
