Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator to move products and materials while adhering to safety standards. Duties include placing and retrieving palletized units, using RF systems to document items, and performing daily equipment checks.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and working in cold or dry storage environments with appropriate PPE. We offer a stable work environment with opportunities for consistent schedules, teamwork, and adherence to Lineage safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain batteries, and leave equipment at charging station.
