Job summary

Case Farms in Dudley, NC is seeking a forklift operator to move pallets, inspect equipment, and ensure safe workflow in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will follow OSHA and Case Farms guidelines, wear PPE, report issues, keep your area clean, and perform duties for on-site operations. Requires 18+ years, legal work status in the US, ability to read/write, basic math, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.

• Minimum age: 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets from the production floor and place them in freezer bays for future shipment.
• Inspect equipment to ensure optimum operating condition.
• Notify supervisor/lead of any forklift or equipment issues.
• Safely operate high-reach forklifts following OSHA and Case Farms guidelines.
• Adhere to safety requirements including PPE, reporting unsafe acts/conditions, Lockout-Tagout and Process Safety Management-related matters.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work area.

Job description

• Removes pallets from the production floor and carefully places them in the correct bay in the freezer for future shipment.
• Properly inspects equipment to ensure they are in optimum operating condition.
• Notifies supervisor and/or lead of any issues with the forklift or malfunction(s).
• Safely operates high-reach forklifts under OSHA and Case Farms guidelines.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts/conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters.
• Maintains a clean, uncluttered, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Prior forklift experience required.
