Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions – Macomb is hiring a Hand Finisher/Deburr (Parts Mark) for the night shift. You will deburr gears and housings, sand blast, and prep heat treatment with strict adherence to processes and traceability procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic blueprint reading, and the ability to use hand tools. Lean manufacturing exposure is a plus, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous deburring experience on aircraft gears and housings preferred.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques beneficial.
• Ability to read production drawings and apply inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and sharp edges using hand tools and grinders on various machined parts.
• May operate deburring machines, polishers, part washers and sandblasters.
• Ensure conformance to print specifications and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all procedures and regulations.
• Deburr metal parts using motorized, pneumatic, and manual methods.
• Complete traceability paperwork for build processes.
• Utilize hand tools for Parts Marking serial numbers and related tasks.
