Triumph Geared Solutions in Macomb, MI is seeking a Hand Finisher/Deburr (Parts Mark) for the day shift. The role focuses on deburring gears and complex housings, sand blasting, heat treat prep, and visual inspection in line with the department manual.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with deburring aircraft components. Strong attention to detail, blueprint reading, and first‑article traceability are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in deburring of aircraft gears and housings preferred.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement beneficial.
• Ability to learn production equipment quickly.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Able to perform fine finish work using bore scopes and magnification devices.
• Understand process sketches and drawings; select abrasives accordingly.
• Able to use hand tools for serial-number marking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Deburr aircraft gears and housings using hand tools and abrasive methods.
• May operate deburring machines, polishers, washers and sandblasters.
• Ensure conformance to print specifications and instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow regulations.
• Finish metal parts using precision tools for surface quality.
• Complete paperwork for traceability of product builds.
• Additional duties as assigned.
