Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a Hand Finisher/Deburr (Parts Mark) for the night shift at the Macomb site. The role focuses on deburring gears and housings, sand blasting, and prep for heat treat, with strict adherence to the Operations manual and traceability requirements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be proficient with hand tools and bore scopes, and able to read blueprints. Prior deburring experience with aerospace parts is preferred and opportunities exist to develop skills in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in deburring aircraft gears and housings preferred.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Able to perform fine finish work using bore scopes and magnification devices.
• Able to use hand tools for Parts Marking serial numbers.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools (files, scrapers, buffers, wire brushes) to remove burrs and sharp edges.
• Operate deburring machines, polishers, sandblasters as needed.
• Ensure products conform to print specifications and instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with regulations.
• Complete paperwork for traceability of builds.
• Support other duties as assigned.
