Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions – Macomb is seeking a Hand Finisher/Deburr (Parts Mark) to deburr aircraft gears and complex housings, sand blast, and perform heat treat prep with visual inspection. You will follow the Deburr Department and Parts Marking manual to produce high-quality parts.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, possible machine operation, and ensuring conformance to print specifications. Opportunity to contribute to a safety-focused, climate-controlled environment with growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience deburring aircraft gears and housings preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand drawings.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement beneficial.
• Able to perform fine finish work using borescopes or magnification devices.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and sharp edges from parts using hand tools and grinders.
• May operate deburring machines, polishers, sandblasters and part washers.
• Ensure parts meet print specs per instructions for deburring and lapping.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow procedures.
• Complete traceability paperwork for each product build.
