Job summary

CBRE Data Center Technician role based in Shoreview, MN, on-site night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance in a data center environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting Mechanical & Engineering systems, responding to BMS alarms, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining thorough records. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Technical training with apprenticeship or equivalent and 1–2 years of experience.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must meet physical requirements of the role.
• Ability to present information clearly to internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily mechanical and engineering systems and perform servicing.
• Respond to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors following procedures and laws.
• Record readings from UPS, PDU, and utilities during walkthroughs.
• Complete PM and reactive maintenance and document all work.
