Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician for night shift operations in a Texas data center. The role includes preventative and corrective maintenance, responding to BMS alarms, and coordinating with vendors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The technician will perform routine inspections, monitor environmental conditions, and maintain accurate maintenance records while following established processes and procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or technical diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on data center equipment.
• Monitor mechanical and engineering systems and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors per MSAs and regulations.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and safety compliance.
