Job summary

CBRE maintains small to medium buildings and data center facilities in Barker, NY. We seek an overnight Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and assist with installation of equipment to ensure reliable operation during night shifts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency in MS Office. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma (1–2 years experience acceptable).
• Meet physical requirements: lift 50 lbs, stooping, climbing stairs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Assist installation and modification of building equipment.
• Review work orders and track completion with team.
• Support energy management and ensure regulatory compliance.
