Job summary

Brightstar is seeking a Computer Operator (Night Shift) at our Data Center in West Greenwich, RI to monitor and support operating equipment for one or more jurisdictions, ensuring flawless operations 24/7. You will perform entry to intermediate level analysis of systems, servers, host systems, middleware, and tools, and monitor security processes.

Qualifications

Two-year college degree or zero to two years of experience.
Demonstrates a relentless commitment to meeting and exceeding customers' expectations while also achieving the goal of reducing the risks and costs of providing services.
Able to perform entry level troubleshooting of systems and servers according to established procedures under supervision.
Performs entry level network monitoring and troubleshooting by confirming tool set availability and detecting anomalies.

Responsibilities

Provide entry to intermediate level monitoring and support for operating equipment for one or more jurisdictions, ensuring flawless operations 24/7.
Conduct intermediate level analysis of systems and servers pertaining to host systems, middleware, applications, and existing tools.
Monitor logical security through established tools and procedures.
Gain hands on experience in identifying and resolving network technology issues.
Execute predefined processes in operational checklists to ensure successful draw processing and day-end processing.
