Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician for night shift to operate and maintain critical data center equipment.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, with rotating 12-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities. Candidates must have US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph, plus the ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph after start.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to bend or twist the body into unusual positions.
• Hands-on skills with small wires and objects.
• Ability to walk on job sites in uneven terrain and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, generator, and fire/safety equipment in data center.
• Troubleshoot facility equipment and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform maintenance tasks including filters, HVAC PMs, and rack installations.
• Supervise contractors and participate in on-call responses.
