Job summary

Amazon in Herndon, VA, seeks a Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Manager for night shift to lead technicians and engineers, ensuring capacity delivery and online expansion of data centers. You will partner with cross‑functional teams and external vendors, driving safety, efficiency, and global operational excellence.

The role requires travel between data centers, a technical leadership mindset, and a passion for scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

2+ years of TCP/IP networking, network cabling, fiber, optic types, and test equipment experience.
2+ years of management or team lead experience.
2+ years in a data center technology role.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop teams of technicians and engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise and ensuring high performance.
Deliver capacity to existing Data Centers.
Help build and bring online new Data Centers.
Improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency.
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
Coordinate with internal teams and management groups.
Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards in all Data Centers.
Create and maintain metrics to drive improvements.
Assist in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity).
