Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Manager in Fredericksburg, VA to lead a diverse team responsible for installing and building server rack capacity for customers. You will drive performance, coordinate with engineers and technicians, and ensure safety and efficiency across data center operations.

Travel to multiple data center sites will be required as needed to support deployment, with a focus on delivering scalable infrastructure and optimizing deployment strategies in

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data center technology role.
• 2+ years of TCP/IP networking experience.
• 2+ years in a management or team lead function.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing teams of technicians and engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise.
• Delivering capacity to existing Data Centers.
• Helping build and bring online new Data Centers.
• Constantly improving all processes and procedures.
• Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors.
• Liaising with internal teams & management groups.
• Ensuring health & safety standards in all Data Centers.
• Creating and maintaining metrics to drive positive changes.
• Assisting in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity).
