Job summary

Ideal Tridon and Campbell Fittings seek a Cutoff/Press Setup/Operator for the 3rd shift in Boyertown, PA. You’ll set up and operate multiple cutoff machines to cut various metals and inspect parts for quality, using gauges and calipers, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in manufacturing, and prior machine operator experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience are required.
• 3+ years of machine operator experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate from one to five hand operated or automated cutoff machines to cut steel, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel pipe and tubing to specified lengths.
• Use overhead crane to bring stock to machines.
• Load magazines on automatic machines.
• Visually inspect material for defects before cutting.
• Use measuring tools to check work and adjust equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
