Job summary

Ideal Tridon Group is hiring a Cutoff/Press Setup/Operator for Campbell Fittings. The role requires operating cutoff machines, using an overhead crane, and performing quality checks on metal stock. You will work in a busy manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and able to ask for help when needed.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Must be comfortable and efficient in working in a busy open-floor environment.
• Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one to five cutoff machines to cut steel, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel to specified lengths.
• Use overhead crane to bring stock to machines.
• Load magazines on automatic machines and adjust blades and feeds when necessary.
• Visually inspect material for defects and verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
